Introduction
Power Business Intelligence for Beginners is a hands-on course that empowers participants to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights using Microsoft Power BI. Over five days you will learn the end-to-end workflow—from connecting and preparing data, to modeling with best practices, writing fundamental DAX, and delivering polished, shareable reports. The course blends concept, demonstration, and guided practice so attendees leave able to build real-world dashboards and support data-driven decisions.
Objectives
2. Build a logical data model with relationships, calculated columns, and proper data types.
3. Create measures with DAX for common business calculations, including basic time intelligence.
4. Design clear, interactive reports and dashboards using visuals, filters, slicers, and drill-through.
5. Publish reports to Power BI Service, configure refresh, and share content with basic workspace permissions.
